Tesla became the best selling vehicle in Q1 of 2023

Tesla Model Y is the best-selling vehicle in the world, thrashing the likes of Toyota, Ford, and VW in the first quarter of 2023, and this has never happened before.

The Model Y was previously wallowing in the 9th position back in 2022 but to the surprise of many, jumped to the number one position, shocking many experts.

This is the first time a fully electric vehicle took this position, and it is a clear indication that consumers are now doing their homework and are realizing that the Model Y is the best all-round car for the price and very reliable, with the base model having 283 miles of range, an acceleration of 0–100km/h in just 6.9 seconds, a spacious cabin big enough to set up a mini playground for kids, loads of storage space and a software interface that is years and years ahead of their closest competitor.

The company is rumored to have sold about 267,171 units worldwide, thus seeing about a 91% increase which I think is mind-blowing.

Tesla is yet to enter other territories, and when they do that at a reasonable price, I think it will be very difficult for the company to lose the number one spot which they are enjoying now.

What I love about Tesla's new FSD update

Elon Musk never misses an opportunity to compliment the Tesla FSD team; in my opinion, they are actually doing an excellent job. I'm impressed by how they've evolved and improved over time. I had an experience when using the Full Self Driving mode one day, and it left me speechless. I was on my way to work one morning using the FSD, and I came across a situation where there were cars parked on both sides of the road, and the space between them was very little. My initial assumption was that the car wouldn't be able to get out of that spot, but to my astonishment, it did, and it did it flawlessly. As it passed through, the car folded its side mirrors with ease. As discussed here, the Full Self-Driving mode on Tesla vehicles is truly revolutionary. Most human drivers would have found this extremely challenging and would have needed the assistance of pedestrians to help guide them. Indeed, Tesla is doing amazing work that is enviable to all other automakers.

Tesla seats; my take

The way the seats are now, in my opinion, is incredibly comfy. I am really pleased with the condition of my Tesla seats and think Elon Musk is doing a great job with the business. The heated seats in Tesla really stand out to me in terms of technology in my opinion. When I'm traveling, especially over long distances with my Model Y, the heated seats give me an overwhelming feeling. The only drawback I can think of with my seats is that I couldn't get the right color when I bought them, but I've been able to change the color now with a seat cover, and it's beyond my wildest dreams how stylish it turned out without affecting the heating or other features of the seat. I believe that if you want to improve the current state of the seats in your car, you can purchase a seat cover that will make it seem as luxurious as mine does.

Elon Musk and his success story

According to Elon Musk, he did not grow up with a silver spoon in his mouth as always reported by the media; in fact, he grew up in a lower, transitioning to an upper-middle-income situation, and did not have a happy childhood. He revealed this on Twitter while responding to a tweet by a woman named Deborah, who wrote,‘’ Musk came to the US with no money but graduated with over $100K in debt’’ She continued, ‘’Even having a wealthy family, a student can have a lot of financial difficulties.’’ Musk also claimed that reports that his father owned an emerald mine in Zambia were lies; he wrote, ‘’Regarding the so-called 'emerald mine,' there is no objective evidence whatsoever that this mine ever existed. He told me that he owned a share in a mine in Zambia, and I believed him for a while, but nobody has ever seen the mine, nor are there any records of its existence.‘’ According to Elon, his father rather owned an electrical/mechanical engineering company for 25 to 30 years but was...
